Model Flying Club Seinäjoen RC-AIRCLUB welcomes English speaking new members and visitors to the club. We are the RC model flying club in the Seinäjoki city region.
Our club evenings are on Thursday evening 18-20:30. From May to September club evenings are held in Kurjennevan flying field and from September to April in clubhouse in Rytmikorjaamo premises.
Flying field Kurjenneva
Kurjenneva flying field 14km east from the city of Seinäjoki. The flying field can be reached via road 687 towards Kuortane.
Kurjenneva flying field is approved flying site for all unmanned planes and it is marked in national Aviamaps service. You can fly up to 500m height in Kurjenneva. There are no time restrictions in the flying field as long as you can see your plane.
All regular RC flyers in Finland should register in Finnish Traffic Authority Trafi drone-register in www.droneinfo.fi/en/droneinfo-front-page.
Club house Rytmikorjaamo
Our clubhouse is located in Rytmikorjaamo premises, address Vaasantie 11, Seinäjoki. The door to the clubhouse is located in main yard, door B5. There is a doorbell on the right side on the door.
Club house has a RC flying simulator available for basic flight training. There are also normal building tools available to build and repair model aeroplanes, and of course a coffee machine 😊
You can build and store your planes in the clubhouse, repair damaged planes, test fly our minidrones or just hangout in the clubhouse.
Indoor flying
During wintertime we are hosting indoor flying events in sporting halls 1-2 times per month. Indoor flying is free of charge under 18 years old flyers and 15-20 eur/adult flyer. The schedule for indoor flying is available for all members via our whatsapp group.
Membership fees
You can visit the flying field and club house for free. We wish that all regular users will apply the club membership and pay 50 eur annual membership fee.
